The Orange County California Genealogical Society (OCCGS) is a non-profit, educational organization in Huntington Beach with 400 members. Its purpose is to collect, preserve and disseminate knowledge and information in regards to genealogy and related historical, biographical and heraldic data. It strives to instill and promote interest and instruction in genealogical research. OCCGS provides full maintenance and development of the Genealogy Collection housed at the Huntington Beach Central Library (lower level), which now contains over 17,000 volumes. Join us by going to "Membership Forms:" below, print and fill out the membership form, make out a check payable to OCCGS, and mail them to the address shown on the form.

The Orange County California Genealogical Society general membership meeting is held the first Saturday of each month (except for June and December) in meeting room C & D at the Huntington Beach Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave. Huntington Beach,  California.
