10:10 AM - WWII Overview Through the Lens of Family History P1

11:15 AM - WWII Overview Through the Lens of Family History P2

This unique presentation looks at WW2 in the same way as it unfolded for our ancestors: chronologically. This not only provides us a better understanding of a family's wartime experience, it also helps us interpret and analyze WW2 records more accurately. The program is divided into two parts: 1940-1942 and 1943-1946. Each one-hour session provides a user-friendly timeline of key military events and discusses their impact on US families and their communities. It also highlights examples using various records.
